• Congratulations ! Ian-Woo Kim has won the AKPA Outstanding Young Researcher Award (OYRA) this year. Dr. Kim is a postdoc working with Lisa Everett.
• Congratulations ! Daniel Lecoanet has been named Churchill Scholar. Daniel is an UW-Madison undergraduate student pursuing double majors with honors in physics and mathematics. He will spend the 2010-11 academic year at the University of Cambridge in the UK.
• An additional Department meeting has been scheduled for February 25 at 12:15 pm in room 5310 Chamberlin.
