ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. The mail server will be replaced by October 5
2. Strategic Planning Committee—in cooperation with the space committee—seeks written input for developing a plan on future infrastructure improvements to support the research mission of the department—Cary Forest
3. Colloquium in the spring will be on Friday afternoons
4. The annual exercise of under 30K Instructional and Research Laboratory remodeling requests is here again. Please submit any new requests to Aimee Lefkow by 9/28/07
5. Jean Johnson has accepted the ADM position and will start on 10/15/07
6. “Find Our People Meeting” is scheduled for Friday, September 28 at 3:30 in 2241 Chamberlin
7. Graduate School Information Meeting for Undergrads is scheduled for October 5 at 3:30 in 2241 Chamberlin
