UW-Physics Backups

Certain systems are currently backed up using a number of technologies like BuckyBackup, EMC Legato NetWorker, AFS backup volumes and AFS native backups.

If you need files restored, please let us know ASAP! Recovering "last nights" files from AFS is very easily done; whereas recovering older AFS files is not.

UW-Physics is in the process of migrating to unified backup system using the TiBS software from Teradactyl. Sometime this spring, after we migrate the critical systems, we will be offering backup services.
