The detailed day-by-day agenda with will be posted on http://agenda.hep.wisc.edu/ in the near future and speakers will be asked to upload their talks.
The following information is a to provide you with useful and important information.
1. Registration & Information - will be open each day beginning at 8:00 AM (0800 hrs). The registration area is located in Monona Terrace on the 4th Level west side. Please stop by the registration area to check in, pay if necessary, and to pickup conference materials. The registration area will be staffed to assist you throughout the meeting.Messages - The telephone number at registration will be posted soon. 2. Food and Beverage -

There will be vegetarian offerings at every meal.

Monday evening at ~6:00-7:00 PM is a reception in the Grand Terrace, along with the Poster Session. There will be wine and beer (bottles and a tap of local beer: New Glarus Spotted Cow), water and soda, and plenty of hors d'oeuvres to fill you up before the evening plenary session.
Thursday evening is the conference dinner. The menu choices will be in your registration materials. You will need to pick up a ticket for the banquet. Please see the secretariat by Thursday noon to get your ticket.
3. Computing Facility - We will have wireless access. You will need this login: physics, password: 2008. We will also have a computing facility for those who do not have laptops. It will be located in Meeting Room R. There will be 6 Windows PC machines with MS Office, Acrobat, and a web browser. There will also be a black and white printer available.

Friday 8:00 AM to 12:45 PM
*Please note that participants will not be allowed in the computing facility beyond the daily closing time.*
4. UW Campus Computing - If you plan to spend any time on your free day at the UW Campus and would like access to the UW Wireless network, please see the Secretariat and we will be happy to provide you with a login and password.
5. Name badges - are required in Monona Terrace. Since Monona Terrace is a public facility, security personnel, Monona Terrace staff, and the conference secretariat need to be able to identify you with our meeting. Name badges can be picked up at registration.
6. Getting to/from Monona Terrace - all conference hotels are within a nice walking distance to Monona Terrace. The Inn on the Park is 3 blocks, Concourse is about 7 (short) blocks.
7. Parking - if you are driving, it is advised that you leave your car parked at your hotel. If you need to park at Monona Terrace the fee is $0.55 per half hour increment or up to a maximum of $12.00/day. Weekends it is a flat fee of $4.00.
8. Smoking Policy - please note that Monona Terrace is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is allowed outside the building in designated areas.
9. Currency Exchange - due to the difficulty in changing currency in Madison, it is advised that you take care of this before arriving into Madison.
10. Transportation to/from Madison airport - each hotel (except Lowell) provides shuttle service to and from the airport. Upon departure, it is recommended that you request a late check out or ask the hotel to store your luggage and return to the hotel for a shuttle to the airport.
Note, that there will not be any shuttle transportation to the Madison airport from Monona Terrace. However, we would be happy to call and arrange a taxi for you from Monona Terrace to the airport.
11. Saturday AM - For those interested who will stay through Saturday, Madison has an excellent Farmer's Market every Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (0600 - 1400 hrs) around the capital square.
Wednesday PM - There is also a smaller Farmer's Market on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, (right in front of Monona Terrace) from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
