Physics Lecture Hall, Room 2241 Chamberlin Hall

  • Located off the south entrance lobby.
  • Room capacity is 173 persons.

Audio/Video:

  • A room operation orientation can be requested and is advised.
  • The main system is a password protected Crestron Interface.

  • The Crestron password is given upon request by the physics department - NOT by campus scheduling.
  • There is a VCR and DVD/CD player. (Currently out of order - IR control problems force Manual Operations)
  • There are two wireless microphones available. One microphone is always in the room the other is available by request.

Crestron Operation:

  • Touch the screen of the touch pad
  • Enter the password
  • Select either “General Assignment” (GA) or “General Physics” (Phys).
  • Using a computer with the Crestron System:
    • Connect your computer to the Crestron System with the VGA cable provided for you on the lectern. (NOTE: Typically, a computer does not automatically send a signal to its auxiliary port by which you connect to the Crestron interface; hence, to send a signal, you must key into your computer the appropriate command. On PC's this command is entered by holding down the function key, fn, and then striking the F8 key.)
    • If you are in the GA menu, push the Laptop button on the left menu bar.
    • If you are in the Phys menu, select the Lectern button from the left menu bar and then push the Graphic 2 button in the center of the screen.
    • Finally, select the projector you wish to use by pushing either the Left Projector or the Center Projector button. The projector you selected will start and display what you see on the Crestron preview window.
