Opportunities For Giving
Whether you are an alumni, friend, employee or student, we appreciate your interest in and loyalty to the University of Wisconsin Physics Department and we look forward to the opportunity to get to know you better.
We invite you to support the University and provide you with the opportunity to easily make a web donation. As usual, our area of greatest need is still the Physics Newton Fund. Your gift through the UW Foundation to this fund will continue to help us attract top faculty and graduate students: host stimulating lectures, symposia and other scholarly activities; sponsor special events such as our Awards Night for recognition of outstanding graduates, undergraduates and alumni; support community-building events in and out of the department and help us continue to enrich the lives of our Physics family.
To stay informed about what’s happening at the UW-Madison Physics Department, just click on News and Events for updates on current news. Please visit our list of student and alumni award winners. Also, watch for our next issue of The Wisconsin Physicist.
Two Ways to Make a Gift - Use the Web/Send a Check
To make an electronic gift on the web at a secure UW Foundation site, go to "Physics Fund Descriptions" to read about our funds. Once there, choose your favorite fund and click. Fill in the blanks and click once more. That's all there is to it!
