Course Description: 
Special topics in physics at the advanced undergraduate level.
Instructor Course Description: 
The course will provide an introduction to quantum information science and technology. This will be done in two parts. The first half will cover the theory of classical and quantum information. The second half will study the physics underpinning implementations of quantum devices including: photons, atoms, ions, quantum dots, and superconductors.
Prerequisites: 
Physics 241 or consent of instructor
