Physics 247 Spring 2008 Reference Page

Description

247 A Modern Introduction to Physics. I; 5 cr (P-I). Introduction to physics recommended for students who are considering majoring in physics, astronomy, astronomy and physics, AMEP. Also suitable for those majoring in science or mathematics. Mechanics, relativity, cosmology. Three lectures, two discussions, and one three-hour lab per week.

Prerequisites

Open to Freshmen Math 222 or concurrent registration, or consent of instructor. Intended primarily for physics, AMEP, astronomy-physics majors. Students will receive degree credit for only one of the following courses: Physics 103, 201, 207, 247.

Lectures

This course is not offered during the Spring 2008 semester.
