Group problems and quizzes

Discussion quizzes: One per week, during Monday's discussion section. These cover the previous week's lecture and reading material. The question are usually somewhat easier than exam problems. An easy way to prepare is to attend lecture, do the reading, and start the HW over the weekend. You may bring one 8 1/2 x 11 equation sheet.

Discussion group problems: one or two per week, generally on Wednesday. These problems are comparable to or somewhat harder than typical exam problems.
