SUMMARY:Supersymmetric U(1)' Models\, NPAC (Nuclear/Particle/Astro/Cos
mo) Forum\, Gil Paz\, Institute for Advanced Study\, Princeton
DESCRIPTION:Extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MS
SM) that include a U(1)' gauge symmetry are motivated by top-down<br>

\nconstructions and offer an elegant solution to the MSSM mu problem.<
 br>
\n<br>
\nIn this talk I will describe some of the opportunities th
at such models offer\, such as a new mechanism for mediation of supers
ymmetry breaking\, as well as some of the challenges in constructing v
 iable supersymmetric U(1)' models.
