SUMMARY:Violating Rotational or Translational Invariance During Inflat
 ion (Joint with Phenomenology)\, NPAC (Nuclear/Particle/Astro/Cosmo) F
 orum\, Mark B. Wise\, Caltech
DESCRIPTION:I explore the possibility that rotational or translationa
l invariance is violated during the inflationary era but restored at
the end of the inflationary era. This possibility is constrained by da
ta on the microwave background anisotropy. Some particular inflationar
 y models are discussed.
