SUMMARY:Probing TeV scale physics in ultra-cold neutron decays\, NPAC
 (Nuclear/Particle/Astro/Cosmo) Forum\, Rajan Gupta\, Los Alamos Nation
 al Laboratory
DESCRIPTION:This talk will describe the possibility of probing scalar
 and tensor interactions <br>
\narising from new physics at the TeV sca
le at the two experiments\, UCNb <br>
\nand UCNB\, being developed at
the ultra-cold neutron source at Los Alamos. <br>
\nI will show that t
he largest uncertainty is connecting theory to experiments <br>
\n(wit
h measurements at the 10^{-3} level)\, comes from estimates of the <br
 >
\nscalar and tensor charges of a nucleon. I will then discuss the st
 atus of our lattice <br>
\nQCD calculations of these matrix elements a
nd plans for the future. As summary\, a <br>
\ndiscussion of current b
ounds on these novel interactions will be presented.
