SUMMARY:Introducing FLAG: the phased array feed for the Green Bank Tel
escope\, Astronomy Colloquium\, DJ Pisano\, West Virginia University
DESCRIPTION:The Focal L-band Array on the GBT (FLAG) is a phased array
receiver for the GBT with an equivalent sensitivity to the existing s
ingle feed receiver. It will speed up HI surveys by a factor of 5-7x
and pulsar/transient surveys by a factor of a few. I will present the
results from our commissioning observations and let you know how you
can propose to use it in the future.
