SUMMARY:Imprints of Lorentz Violation in Neutrino Oscillation Experime
nts \, NPAC (Nuclear/Particle/Astro/Cosmo) Forum\, Sanjib Kumar Agarwa
 lla\, UW Madison
DESCRIPTION:Various beyond the Standard Model (BSM) scenarios may affe
ct the outcome of next-generation high-precision neutrino oscillation
experiments as the precision on the standard three-flavour mass-mixing
parameters and measurements of the Dirac CP phase continue to improve
in the near future. One such popular BSM scenario is neutrino interac
 tions involving Lorentz violation (LV).
\n
\nIn this talk\, I will di
scuss the impact of LV on neutrino oscillations with a special emphasi
s on atmospheric neutrino experiments operating in the multi-GeV energ
y range. I will show how the CPT-violating LV parameters may alter the
so-called oscillation dip and valley features in muon survival probab
ilities\, which in turn play a crucial role to place stringent constra
 ints on these BSM
\n parameters. I will also demonstrate the advantag
e of incorporating hadron energy information (inelasticity) and charge
identification capability of the detector while probing these LV para
 meters.
\n
\nAt the end\, if time permits\, I will discuss the impact
of these LV parameters on neutrino mass ordering determination and pr
ecision measurement of atmospheric oscillation parameters.
