DESCRIPTION:This month the PEI Forum is hosting two speakers from the 
 Center for Teaching\, Learning\, and Mentoring to give the Department 
 an overview of how AI is being used in classrooms at UW.  They will l
 ead a discussion of:  setting expectations for students\, best practic
 es for classroom use\, emerging norms\, and resources and tools availa
 ble to support instructors at UW Madison:   Google Gemini\, Microsoft 
 Copilot\, and NotebookLM.  We anticipate this will be the first of man
 y discussions on using AI for teaching.
