2021 Virtual Visit Days

Welcome to the Physics Ph.D. Program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison! We are so glad you’ve decided to join us for our 2021 Virtual Visit Weekends. The faculty, current students, and staff have an outstanding schedule planned for you to highlight the research, involvement, and activities going on in the program, on campus, and in the City of Madison. While we aren’t able to welcome you to a visit weekend in person, we hope to provide you ample opportunities to interact and engage with members of our department and learn what it would be like to do your graduate studies with us.

In addition to the videos and information found on this page, there are also many resources available to graduate students in our department. Be sure to check out the current students page on our website for resources, program handbook, events, e-newsletters, and program contacts and committees.

For anyone who was unable to attend certain parts of the virtual visit days, the slides from select Thursday and Friday sessions are now available.  Feel free to contact Michelle Holland, Graduate Program Coordinator (michelle.holland@wisc.edu) if there are any questions along the way.
