Continuing the proud tradition that our department has in conducting physics outreach, we are excited to announce the Wonders of Physics Scholars Program.
The Wonders of Physics Scholarship program accepts up to five undergraduate students who want to learn valuable science communication skills in fun, low-stress environments. Scholars will receive mentoring from professional outreach staff and opportunities to practice their communication skills at a wide variety of events. A $1000 stipend will be given upon successful completion of training and participation in events. Total time commitment of 30-40 hours over the course of one year is anticipated.
