Course Description: 
Continuation of Physics 248. Modern physics: introduction to quantum mechanics, topics from nuclear and particle physics, condensed matter physics, and atomic physics. Three lectures and one discussion per week.
Prerequisites: 
Physics 248 & Math 234, or consent of instructor; concurrent registration in Physics 307 required. Not open to students who have taken Physics 241; Open to Freshmen. Intended primarily for physics, AMEP, astronomy-physics majors
