My scientific interest is in the study of fundamental particles. Our latest physics adventure had begun with a bang, resulting in the discovery of the Higgs boson, at the Large Hadron Collider in CERN, Geneva, using the CMS detector. Having firmly established the Standard Model of particle physics at the LHC energies, we are anticipating discoveries of new TeV-scale physics processes in the coming years. These experiments are expected to answer unresolved questions about the current standard theory of matter and energy and enable an even deeper level of knowledge about fundamental interactions in nature.
