Updated 11/14/22: We expect to offer Physics 106–Physics of Sports in Spring 2023. For now we are offering Physics 206 in place of Physics 106.
All students who satisfy the requisites for Physics 106 will be allowed (for Spring 2023 only) to enroll in Physics 206. The requisites for Physics 106 are: “Satisfied Quantitative Reasoning (QR) A requirement. Not open to students with credit for Physics 103, 201, 207, or 247.”
If you are blocked from registering for Physics 206 due to requisites, please go here to request an exemption: https://app.physics.wisc.edu/requisite-exemption/
Physics 106/206 will satisfy your QR-B requirement.
Once Physics 106 is approved for enrollment, you will be asked to switch your enrollment from 206 to 106.
