My research interest is in fusion power, especially using novel confinement schemes like the magnetic mirror.
I currently work with Prof. Cary Forest on the WHAM device, modelling High Harmonic Fast Wave (HHFW) heating for ions. I hope to test my simulations on the device itself in a few years.
Outside of work, I like to spend time sailing on Lake Mendota, embroidering and dancing.
